New Way Of Refilling Inkjet Cartridges For Your Inkjet Printer
I only have one color cartridge but the refill kits come with 3 ink tanks, where do I refill it?
Your cartridge comes with 3 sections inside the cartridge. Each section will hold a specific color out of the 3. All you have to do is locate the 3 holes on the cartridge and refill with the proper color. Please do not use the label on the cartridge to tell you where each color is to be injected as it does not indicate the positions for each color. Printer Ink Cartridges Refill Kit Troubleshooting

1. The plastic cover must be remove to reveal the filling holes. Carefully pry it off with a thin metal blade, such as a thin flathead screwdriver. Or lay the cartridge on its side with the plastic cap off the edge of a table holding it firmly then break the seal by striking it with a blunt object. Important: Make certain that the sensors on the back of the cartridge do not get damaged.
2. Connect the needle to the syringe and fill with the correct color of ink.

For maximum success, using the HP bottom filler makes the filling of these HP inkjet cartridges easier and neater.
1. Put a piece of tape over (Aerator “B”) on the bottom of the cartridge. This aerator must be sealed tightly to prevent leaking. - see diagram.
2. Aerator “C” is located in the center of the top of cartridge. DO NOT STICK THE NEEDLE IN THIS HOLE.

Instruction for refilling HP 21 Cartridge
1. Remove the label located at the top of the cartridge (Do not throw away this label).
2. Note: the labels on the illustrations to the right have already been removed.
3. Insert the needle into the cartridge of the filling hole. Slowly injecting ink into the cartridge until it is full. Do not over fill the cartridge (if you start to see ink coming out of the refill hole, please stop filling and reverse the refilling process.
4. Remove about .5ml of ink from the cartridge or enough to cease the over flow of ink in the cartridge) , it is always better to under fill than overfill. You can always add more ink into the cartridge later. Continue Reading »

Refilling and Reuse a Printer Cartridge
1. Use the included tape dot to seal the breather holes found on the top of the cartridge (as shown at right) Note: Make sure tape dot is completely covering the holes.
2. Use a regular piece of tape to seal the hole on the bottom of the cartridge also make sure this hole is completely sealed. (shown below)
3. With a knife, remove the label to expose the ball bearing underneath. Then use a screw driver to push the ball bearing into the cartridge.
4. Connect the needle to the syringe and fill with ink.
5. Inject about 4 ml. of ink into the filling hole until the ink tank is full. Continue Reading »

1. Use the eyelet screw to remove the plugs located on top of the cartridge.
2. Connect the needle to the syringe and fill with ink.
3. Insert the syringe through the filling hole and push into the cartridge. Note: You may feel a slight pressure because the cartridge contains a sponge.
4. Inject up to 10 ml. of ink, per color, then reseal the cartridge with the plug that was removed from step 1. Continue Reading »
