<div><strong>1.</strong>On your handheld, launch the Prefs application.<br />

the RESET button on the back of your handheld.</div>

logo and a progress bar. Then the circular Palm Powered logo will<br />

<li>Insert the stylus into the pin-hole to press and hold the Reset button.</li>
<li>After approximately 5 seconds, release the stylus and continue to hold the Backlight/Power button.</li>
<li>Wait 5 seconds after releasing the Reset button then release the Backlight/Power button.</li>
<li>A prompt will appear on the display screen, asking if you would like to erase all data.</li>
<li>To reply Yes, press up on the round Navigator key (the middle button, beneath the Graffiti writing area).</li>
<li>The device has been hard reset.</li>

<li>While continuing to hold the Backlight button, insert the stylus into the pin-hole to press and hold the Reset button.</li>
<li>After approximately 5 seconds, release the stylus and continue to hold the Backlight button.</li>
<li>Wait 5 seconds after releasing the Reset button then release the Backlight key.</li>
<li>A prompt will appear on the display screen, asking if you would like to erase all data.</li>
<li>To reply Yes, press up on the round Navigator key (the middle button, beneath the Graffiti writing area).</li>
<li>The device has been hard reset.</li>

<p><strong>PalmOne Treo 600 Hard Reset Performing</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Unscrew the stylus tip to access the reset tool.</li>
<li>Press and hold the Wireless Mode button.</li>
<li>While continuing to hold the Wireless Mode button, turn the device over and use the reset tool to gently press and release the reset button on the back of the Treo 600 (do not release the Wireless Mode button).</li>
<li>While continuing to hold the Wireless Mode button, turn the device over (so that the display screen is visible).</li>
<li>When the Palm Powered logo appears, release the Wireless Mode button.</li>
<li>When the Erase all data? prompt appears, press Up (on the 5-way navigation control) to confirm the Hard Reset.</li>
<li>Power the device on and perform initialization (digitize screen, select language, etc.).</li>
<li>Restore data.</li>
