BlackBerry 6750 / 7750 / 7250 Soft Reset and Hard Reset

Performing Soft Reset BlackBerry 6750 / 7750 / 7250

1. Press and hold the ALT + SHIFT + BACKSPACE or (HALF MOON + CAP + DEL)  keys for approximately 2 seconds then release.
2. A dialog box that states Device Halted – Reset will appear.
3. Press the track wheel in then release.
4. The device will reset.
5. Note: If the device is not responding to input from the key pad or will not power on, perform a hard reset.

Performing Hard Reset BlackBerry 6750 / 7750 / 7250

1. Insert the end of a paperclip into the pin-hole (located on the back of the device near the bottom) to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 2 seconds then release.
2. The device screen should go blank and the red LED on the upper right-hand corner should flash on then off, Initializing will flash on the screen, the hour glass will appear on screen as the device is resetting.
